Natalija Vladisavljević is a Serbian writer, choreographer and performer supported by Per.Art, one of the core Europe Beyond Access partners.
In this video, Natalija gives us a fascinating insight into her unique creative process, which includes gathering copious thoughts and reflections in her notebook, drawing on influences like iconic choreographer, Mary Wigman.
She is the lead artist on the major Europe Beyond Access commission, Dance of the 21st century which follows on from her previous production with Per.Art, Hexantanz (The Witch Dance). Natalija also reflects on the creative routes to leading workshops through a mixture of precise instructions and improvisation to both, guide and let the participating artists express themselves.
